These workshops will be offered from October 24th through October 26th this year and are led by YMCA Outdoor Education Staff. The course covers a variety of ecosystems as well as mountain history and offers up education on fighting wildfires in the area too. At the end of this course, participants receive a Master Naturalist certification as well as the option to participate in a celebratory campfire! As a bonus, those who sign up in October can enjoy participating in a bonus elk ecology class as well. It’s a Halloween time treat you won’t want to miss.
See DeVotchKa Perform at the Stanley Hotel
The iconic Stanley Hotel in Estes Park hosts amazing musical performances year-round. Halloween travelers can enjoy seeing DeVotchKa take to the stage on October 27, 28, and 29th this year. DeVotchKa is a renowned four-piece vocal and multi-instrument ensemble that’s based out of Denver. They’ll be performing as part of the Halloween Black Tie Ball at the hotel and concerts kick off at 7:00 pm on the 27th and then at 6:00 pm on the 28th and 29th.
