Erik Stensland was raised in Minnesota, and first moved to the Rockies with his wife Joanna after they spent 12 years living abroad in Europe, where he spent time doing humanitarian work and developing his photography skills. Since settling in Estes Park, his work has been featured in numerous publications and galleries. Erik himself now owns three galleries, one in Grand Lake Colorado and one in New Mexico where he showcases his desert southwest art. Lucky for you, the original and primary gallery is right here in downtown Estes Park!
With a quaint, mountainside aesthetic on the outside, and a sleek and modern art display on the inside, this local gallery is perfect for visitors to enjoy. Browse gorgeous prints of Erik’s photos, some of them taken in exclusive and rarely traveled corners of the park, and others with iconic landmarks you’ll recognize from your own exploring.
