The Egg and I

You get only one chance a day to wake up right and face it, so why not be sure to start off on the right foot with an amazing breakfast? Estes Park’s The Egg and I will provide you with a great start to any day. As their motto goes, “Wake up to wonderful.”

So, What’s with the Name?

The Egg and I takes its name from the Betty MacDonald memoir of the same name, following her as she adjusts to farm life as a newlywed.

Take your pick of breakfast, brunch or lunch! For something healthy, order the avocado toast, the steel-cut oatmeal with berries and granola, fruit and yogurt with granola and an English muffin, or the Vera Cruz chicken with an avocado omelet. Or treat yourself to something sweet such as the apple cinnamon pancake, the strawberry banana waffle with walnuts and whipped cream, or the Vive La France French toast. And build a lunch combo by choosing a sandwich, salad or the soup of the day. Or just grab a sandwich and salad on its own.

Festive Fall Flavors

Be sure to stop in and catch the seasonal specials before they’re gone! Grab the pumpkin-batter waffle with candied pecans, cinnamon butter, and powdered sugar, served with two eggs and bacon or sausage patties. Or the autumn hash made with cheddar and Jack, bacon, sausage, kale, cremini mushrooms, and onions on potatoes, served with two eggs, an English muffin, hollandaise, and herbs. And don’t forget to order the Kale Cooler with kale, Fuji apple, cucumber, and lemon; or the Orchard Roots with orange, carrot, ginger, Fuji apple, and lime.
