Images of Rocky Mountain National Park Gallery

When you’re staying with us in Estes Park and exploring the magnificent splendor of the Rocky Mountains, you’ll see unbelievable sights that are so vivid and beautiful that you know there’s no way your cellphone camera could do it justice. If you want to purchase a fine art photography print of the mountains’ natural beauty, or if you’d just like to spend an afternoon visiting a fantastic art gallery, pay a visit to Erik Stensland’s Images of Rocky Mountain National Park Gallery in downtown Estes Park!

Stunning Photographs from An Award-Winning Artist

Erik Stensland was raised in Minnesota, and first moved to the Rockies with his wife Joanna after they spent 12 years living abroad in Europe, where he spent time doing humanitarian work and developing his photography skills. Since settling in Estes Park, his work has been featured in numerous publications and galleries. Erik himself now owns three galleries, one in Grand Lake Colorado and one in New Mexico where he showcases his desert southwest art. Lucky for you, the original and primary gallery is right here in downtown Estes Park!

With a quaint, mountainside aesthetic on the outside, and a sleek and modern art display on the inside, this local gallery is perfect for visitors to enjoy. Browse gorgeous prints of Erik’s photos, some of them taken in exclusive and rarely traveled corners of the park, and others with iconic landmarks you’ll recognize from your own exploring. It highlights Erik’s most famed images of the park and has over a hundred of his personal favorites. If you find one you love, it can be purchased as a large print that would look fantastic in your living room, or a smaller print that’ll be easier to take back home with you!

You can also find his prints as greeting cards, and his award-winning books, such as Wild Light: A Celebration of Rocky Mountain National Park, which in 2015 was named best nature and environment book of the year by the Independent Book Publishers Association. You can even take a copy home with you if you’d like. In addition, you’ll find local music for purchase as well. And if you want guidance from a true expert for your own mountain exploration, make sure to pick up one of his popular hiking guides!

You can find the Images of Rocky Mountain National Park at 203 Park Lane, Estes Park, CO 80517 or call ahead at 970-586-4352. They’ll be open from 9 AM to 7 PM Monday-Saturday and closed on Sundays.
